@jilgbrown: This past Monday I was blessed with the opportunity to be a keynote guest speaker for the freshman during Freshman Day at Lincoln North Star High School. I was able to share a bit of my story with them and show them where I am today and the journey I took getting here. I also gave them some words of encouragement to help empower them for the upcoming school year. My goal is to eventually share my story in every High School here in Lincoln, Nebraska and eventually every Middle School as well. This was my first Motivational Speech in an educational institution and I learned a lot about myself and my craft! Looking forward to progressing with each new speech! I am beyond grateful for every opportunity presented to me, and I look forward to continuing to give back to our community!
