🍛 Is Ajwa Halal Restaurant REALLY Zabiha? Let’s Talk! 🐟🔥 This review was done before Ramadan started, and I had to find out if Ajwa Halal Restaurant in Upper Darby is truly Zabiha Halal. I ordered the Pakistani Fish over Rice—fried fish on biryani-flavored rice, drizzled with hot sauce and white sauce, with a little side of salad. Sounds good, right? Well… here’s what I found out. 📍 The Food – The fish was okay. Nothing bad, but nothing mind-blowing either. One of those keep your back straight and eat type of meals. At $13, it wasn’t exactly a steal, but it got the job done. 📍 The Meat Situation – So why did I order fish instead of a meat dish? Because when I asked the cashier where their meat was sourced from, he didn’t know. That’s a red flag 🚩. I later found out they source their meat from Aqsa on Wyoming Ave., and Aqsa confirmed that some of their chicken is machine-slaughtered. 📍 The Verdict – As always, do your own research, ask the right questions, and make the call for yourself. 💬 Have you been to Ajwa?
