As a person who was exposed to Clay when I was prebuscent: I knew instinctively he was a danger to me. The license he gave to my peers was horrific.

Carlin wasn't just a comedian, but a wise educated man who expresses through comedy. The closest to a Carlin would be John Stewart. Smart/caring/funny

Totally agree. When interviewed by Jon Stewart he said “remember what we do is rhetoric.” He knew that comedy was as much persuasion as it was poetry
