Could you also use expanding foam in the larger gaps and fill over, just thinking how long caulk takes to dry?

it's impossible to stop it cracking again within a few months it'll be cracked again.

I usually foam first then caulk, gaps that big tend to crack again, no hate tho pal 💯👊🏽

I would use foam but every 1 has their own thing great prep work

Wouldn’t use a sealant on that needs packing out properly and only caulk at the end.
