No child should feel obligated to care for their parents. When my mom got cancer I gladly cared for her because she needed me. I miss her everyday

Some of us aren’t built to be care givers and that’s ok! I already told my parents I’ll try to get them a home health care person.

I've taken care of my father for almost 18yrs and it's not for everyone. It's hard, I'm glad I do it but I won't say it's not emotionally taxing.
