I unfortunately have a friend who lost her baby trying to do a home birth. There was complication and they couldn’t get to the hospital in time. 😔

Man. I’ve had 3 hospital births. 2 were medically necessary inductions and all of my births were FANTASTIC. I know that’s not everyone’s experience.

I had two inductions. 1st on was 12 hours from admission to birth and second one was 7 hours. I got epidurals and it was fantastic!

i didn’t know when you get the epidural they force you to get a catheter until they were putting it in me. might’ve been the worst part of labor

As a paramedic, home birth infuriates me. Putting yourself + baby at risk, and then calling 911 like we have a magic way to fix you/baby.
