You probably need a cotton fiber! Cotton is the best for tie-dye as it absorbs the most color

if you used acrylic yarn, maybe the rit dye more dye would work better? it’s made specifically for synthetic materials :)

The dye used in tie dye only sticks to natural fibers, (cotton, hemp, bamboo, rayon, etc) so if u used synthetic material thats why its washing out:)

The wool is synthetic and not a natural fibre. The dye is for cotton so that is why it will not fix to the wool.

Acrylic yarn is practically impossible to dye. Yes you could try synthetic dye but it may not work

use rit dye but the one specifically for special fabric and material!! i can’t remember what it’s called but it’ll come up on google

💯 cotton will hold best. Then wait 2 days and rinse a few times unless u can wash.

I just diy some jeans with the Rite products. I read online that the dye has a colorstay permanent solution! I used it right after the dye process! ☺️
