@styleitprettyhome: it’s feeling like demo is taking forever. we still have a long way to go, But I got to say finding all the original parts of this house is exhilarating. What started as let’s just remove the ceiling tiles in the carpet to let’s remove all the paneling, demolition of the bathroom and then demo of the covered porch- which is now turning into -let’s eliminate the covered porch and do an open porch instead (homage to the original house) has been Exhausting. While I have done demo before never anything this large. I’m learning so many new things As I go- and making a lot of new mistakes along the way. Relying on Contractor friends for advice when we’re stuck in a pickle- and trying to test every dang surface we want to demo for lead, mold, asbestos. Home Reno’s are not easy- but they’re rewarding and getting to share the journey with YOU is the best part! #ReTokforNature #fyp #oldhomerenovation
