@jackolanternstories: It was around 3am in the dead of night, when Ellen was awoken by a faint jingling noise. Upon fully waking, she recognised it as the bell from her cats collar - so turned over and fell back to sleep. An hour or so later, she was woken for a second time by the jingling bell, so got up to check on the cat. Flashes of lightning lit up the dark bedroom, illuminating her way alongside a small candle. ‘Here, Kitty Kitty’ she called down the stairs, as the jingling had now moved to the basement. The door was slightly ajar, so Ellen creaked it open and called in for the cat. Something then flew by her head, landing on the floor - it was her cats collar.
