I was 8 years old and I remember the guy sitting behind me laughed at the scene where the guy falls into the ocean and is cut in half by the propellor

That is a trauma all 80’s kid have in common. Suffering through this movie in the theaters. This and Armageddon. We have never recovered.

Omg 3 or 4 times for me 😭 also my Dad waited in line when the VHS came out so I got the free calendar. What a good dad.
