Sticky Mongolian Beef  Stir-fry Ingredients  350 g ramen noodles (or any noodles of your choice) 400 g sirloin beef (or porterhouse/rump steak/flank), finely sliced 1 tsp sea salt flakes ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper ¼ cup corn flour Oil, for frying 1 head of broccoli/2 bunches of broccolini, cut into bite-sized pieces 1 onion, cut into thick slices 2 spring onions, cut into batons ½ cup water mixed with 2 tbsp corn flour   1 tsp sesame seeds  Sauce ingredients ⅓ cup tamari or soy sauce ¼ cup brown sugar 2 tbsp sesame oil 1 tbsp hoisin sauce 1 tsp freshly minced garlic 1 tsp freshly minced ginger Method Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions, drain, set aside. Season the beef with the salt and pepper, toss in corn flour. Heat the oil in a large pan on high heat and cook the beef in batches for 2-3 mins, or until browned. Wipe the pan clean with a paper towel. Add the broccoli/broccolini and ½ cup water. Cover and steam for 2-3 mins. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Add the sauce, onion and spring onion to the pan. Add the water and corn flour mixture. Cook 1-2 mins until thickened and glossy. Return the beef to the pan.
