My boy is 8 he flaps and claps has been tested for autism, tourettes ticks and nothing there is nothing he just does it when he is excited! X

what happened to me when i was younger it was a thing called like rythmic movement disorder, it’s nothing bad and you can’t control it (1/2)

My son is 21 and still does it, and my x husband is 52 and he still rocks too…. It’s a soothing mechanism for them….

Please don’t rush to get a diagnosis at such a young age. My son had a lot of autistic traits which got him a diagnosis at3yrs.
