@allezwhip: Our family is very anti-greyhound racing and believe these beautiful animals should only be pets, not the means of a sick form of human entertainment. Did you know recent reports showed there were 78 racing deaths and 5091 racing injuries that were recorded between January and June 2022, resulting in an average of one dog dying every 2.3 days. And those are just the statistics for the injuries and deaths on the track itself. This doesn’t even cover the cruel owners that discard them thoughtlessly after they no longer dance monkey dance entertain them. Greyhounds are gorgeous dogs and deserve only the best lives, we love seeing our friends who have rescued them from this awful industry and given them great homes. But there is not one moment to we condone entertaining these fools who think greyhound racing is acceptable. PETS NOT BETS. And if you make the mistake in asking me if my whippet is a baby greyhound, then ask me if I race her, I’ll tell you that she is a pet and I don’t condone abusing animals like that.
