@apachejunctionpolicedept: It’s ✨CONE✨ 🚧 Traffic Safety Day is to bring awareness to everyone of the equipment, tools, and devices that are used in keeping our roadways safe.  Traffic control devices such as speed limits signs, stop signs, and traffic lights are just some of the main devices in helping those who commute utilize the roadway safely.    🚧 Today, we want to bring awareness to traffic cones.  They are often used in a temporary basis to warn you of a potential hazard such as a hole in the ground or an obstacle in the roadway.  They are used often by police and construction crews working in the roadways to help direct traffic in certain directions while avoiding potential hazards or people working in the roadway.  So, don’t drive around them unless you are specifically directed to do so. #apachejunction #traffic #trafficsafety #lawenforcement #arizona #homeofthesuperstitionmountains #surroundedbylegends #arizonatiktok
