I think the “no screen time before 18 months” is on a case by case basis. My partner and I are movie and tv lovers, it’s one of the ways we connect..

I hear you but I still give my 14 month old my phone with Miss Rachel on when changing his diapers. That way there’s no fight and no mess.

I did all of this and my boys are now 11 and 7 and they prefer screen time over most activities. It made zero diff and required a lot of parenting

I did no screen time for the 1st 8 months and I got nothing done. I couldn’t even eat! Now I put on screen time just so I can at least eat.
