My amazon does this sometimes. I ignore it and once he’s quiet I talk to him. Or if he vocalizes with more appropriate decibels I respond to that.

My Eclectus does her squawk when our large dogs come in and also when I walk away from her. She hates being ignored 😂

Idk 😂 how do I get mine to squawk she’s the quiet animal I’ve ever seen. Except the once a week squak 😳 she didn’t have a good past though 🥺 idk
