@iamlshauntay: Ask An Expert: Jump Rope w/ @makeitfunnyc - Bernadette (@jumpropeisdope) and I hosted a super fun, sold out in 5 days, free 99 class - Ahhhhh OHMERGAWD - this morning at Fort Hamilton Athletic Field in Brooklyn, NY and it was powered by KNIX. I LOVE learning from others - especially experts - and I took a few minutes to pick her brain about jump rope basics. People ALWAYS ask me about my jump rope skills and I'm not saying this in an influencer way. Y'all know what I'm talking about: "People asked me" said nobody - Y'ALL BE ASKING. I'm your fairy fat glam mother and I want all of us to be jumping like the gawds. Additionally, she mentioned the importance of keeping in mind what surface you're jumping on but I didn't have enough time to include this in the video. In the meantime, go follow and book my girl - she's fantastic. I learned so much in one unofficial session with her. Although I was hosting the running section of this event, let me tell you, I was looking forward to part so much. Thanks to all of our amazing attendees. I hope you know that you're dope, powerful and amazing humans. Continue to thrive and I hope to host more events like this in the future. Special thanks to team Running Fat Chef: Eric (hubby), Latisha, William Jr and my mama. P.S. I was stomping out a spotted lantern fly. They're invasive to the environment and threatens agriculture. Although they're beautiful, it's heavily encouraged to stomp the yard on these buddies. I'm sorry y'all.
