@thebeardedplantaholic: The goods arrived! So what I had not told you yet is that my expensive rare greenhouse lights and fans didn’t come on during my departure for ten days! I had filled all of the trays with water and as there was limited light, no heat and no air flow the water turned stagnent and mould started to kick in! I can’t begin to explain the smell of every single pot! I had to wait 24 hours to get my substrate mix order in too so you can imagine how anxious I was as I knowingly left my plants to rot another night. I have lost a few and have saved most but again lost a lot of growth. Every cloud has a silver lining, I remembered to film bits of my soil mix so here you go! Compost - seaweed based Perlite Vermiculite Horticultural charcoal Sphagnum moss Fine orchid pine bark Chunky coco husk pieces Worm castings This is just my mix at the moment, and they tend to adapt over time as well as depend on what I have hanging around however this is a complete full fat mix for aroids! I’ve now got to attack greenhouse number two! Wish me luck!
