I don't see how everyone is missing the point, YES samples need to be taken, but other procedures use a camera AND take samples.

i just had my first pap smear done. it really was "just a pinch" for about 3 seconds. if it hurts when the speculum goes in, its probably because you are not relaxed enough.

I mean with a colopscopy which is a camera up there you still need a speculum I've had the procedure it's more painful than a pap to get a camera and biopsy
