@mhtabletennis: Alright crew you forced my hand. Let’s get the basics sorted and locked in. This is the official rule: A serve must bounce once on the server side, and AT LEAST once on opponent side. The belief that a serve must be long and leave the table long after one bounce on opponent side is not correct. If a server executes a short serve and the ball bounces more than once on opponent side with them failing to hit the ball - the server wins the point. The serve shown in this video is a perfectly legal serve within those rules.
