@therealmelindastrauss: Replying to @rconley39 we start the jewish new year by confessing our sins and finding forgiveness from others and also forgiving ourselves. Jews do not have an official confession any other time of year #highholidays #jewishnewyear #jewishholiday #jewishtiktok #confession

I’m always scared to verbally bring things up and try and atone to someone 😅usually I just forgive in my head, any tips on actually doing so?

I also love that we are NOT required to forgive if asked- it feels like recognition that some hurt takes more than 1 year to repair.

I used to work with someone who is Jewish and she always said that Jews do not believe in heaven and referenced ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
