IF you decide to change to a hoop before the recommended time frame, you should definitely go with one that's bigger so it doesn't pull on the hole.

I made the piercing gun mistake TWICE. Cartilage got infected & rejected the piercing both times. Thankfully I went to a piercer for nose piercing.

Don’t use a hoop. I did this then mine was healing and it did the same thing. It’s not the gun it’s the hoop

Mine kept getting infected when I had a hoop in so I changed it to a stud and it stopped getting infected. And chamomile tea bags on it helped!
