at least in dog breeding, it's usually a sign of an unethical breeder if they are selling puppies at pet shops.

I once was at a pet store and the guy broke a bag with about 50 goldfish in it and they spilled on the floor. I helped him scoop them up.

And they don’t even breed them ethically so the fish dies soon they keep them in small dirty tanks and they breed the female till she dies it’s so sad
