What is your favorite fall fruit? 🍂 Mine are definitely persimmons. 🍅 The tropical persimmon trees at our farm are so special to me that they’ve actually made Autumn my favorite season in South Florida. 😍 We have so many beautiful memories picking and eating persimmons from these trees. 🌳 They’re deciduous which is rare to see in the tropics, but it’s a beautiful reminder of the cycles of nature. 🌀 All the leaves fall off of them after their fruit season is over, then the leaves sprout back in the spring, and new flowers blossom shortly after. 🌸 We are grateful to be able to send these fruits from the handful of trees on our small farm to people all over the country. 📦 Tropical persimmons available for pre-order at miamifruit.org 🌈 (We have begun shipping our earliest pre orders, but haven’t fully caught up yet because many persimmons on the trees still need time to ripen) 🧡 ‼️This variety needs to be soft like a tomato before eating.
