Everything I brought from @REI and what I’d do differently next time! ⛺️⬇️ Before my trip, I ran to REI to get professional advice + make sure I had alll the essentials. They helped me feel confident in my solo set-up. 💪 Here’s what worked really well! (ad) 🪵 Cooking setup: - Jetboil Zip Cooking System - Freeze dried meals from Mountain House and Good To-Go - Lightning Nugget fire starters - Fire wood bought locally near where I camped 💤 Sleeping setup: - Mountain Hardware Lamina 15° bag - Counter Assault Bear spray - Metolius Carabiners for my tent zippers (I found this zipper trick from @jaceywest a while back!) 🔦 Other items I brought: - Black Diamond Spot 400 Headlamp - LuminAID PackLite Lantern - YETI Roadie 24 cooler - Collapsible sink 💭 What I’d do differently next time: I was more anxious being solo off-grid (without cell service) than I thought I’d be! Next time I’ll bring a satellite device like the Garmin inReach Mini 2, so I can contact people in case of emergency. This will give me more peace of mind 😌 Overall, would I solo camp again? YES.
