According to what was said in the broadcast, Senator Ping Lacson is being portrayed as: • “Chief Justice Lacson” • “Prosecutor Lacson” • “DOJ Lacson” • “Secretary Lacson” • Someone who dictates everything to the Blue Ribbon Committee • Someone who also dictates to the DILG And my biggest question is: WHY DOES SENATOR PING LACSON HAVE ALL THESE REPORTS? For me, these statements raise even more questions. Instead of making the allegations go away, they make me want to understand even more why Senator Lacson has access to these reports and what information they contain. And to Senator Alan Peter Cayetano: please remember that Senator Ping Lacson previously served as a general in our country and has extensive experience in investigation and law enforcement. His background and experience are certainly relevant when evaluating the way he conducts investigations. In my opinion, Senator Lacson has every right to investigate and ask questions when there are issues involving public funds and government accountability. If there is nothing to hide, then the Filipino people deserve clear answers, transparency, and complete documentation. There are also allegations and questions surrounding what happened in Taguig. These matters should be properly investigated, and any evidence should be presented publicly so that the Filipino people can understand what really happened. We should not simply believe one side or the other. Let the documents, evidence, investigations, and facts speak for themselves.
