My first sourdough loaf 🍞 Recipe: 125g active starter 315g warm water 50g of honey 530g bread flour 10g salt Instructions: -mix warm water , honey , and starter - add your flour once you see a milky consistency - let dough sit for 30 mins then add a little bit of water and dimple your dough , add salt and start your first stretch and folds ; I like to beat my dough at this point , let it rest for 45 mins - start your 2nd set of stretch and folds , repeat that a total of 4 times with 30-45 minutes of rest in between your stretch and folds - I then let it sit on top of my stove overnight for bulking - once it’s done bulking I shape and place in the fridge for 4-8 hours - I then let it sit on the counter for an hour so it can be at room temperature; score once it gets to room temperature ( typically an hour) -preheat oven to 400 ; add a pot of water on the lower rack for steam - cover pan with foil for 25 minutes then take foil off and bake for another 25-30 minutes #trending #homecooking #homemade #baking #fyp #bread #sourdoughbread
