@salemtechsperts: Some more #techtoktips when you’re #shopping for your next #laptop. Be aware that laptops with glass touchscreens will cost way more to fix compared to one that has no glass. It’s common for the replacement display to cost over half the entire value of the device. This is true with HP, Lenovo, Dell, Acer, and everyone else. And with Chromebooks, sometimes the part to fix it costs more than the entire device does. This is really bad for students or people on a budget. I’m always looking out for my customers and hate giving them bad news at my #repair #shop. Do your research before your next purchase and you’ll be good! Also think about getting insurance, just in case of an accident. Just like cars, it doesn’t matter how much you paid for it, it matters how much the repairs cost. A premium $2000 laptop that you bought for $200 is going to have $2000 repair prices. All it takes is 1 accident and your bank account could be toast.
