my overnight French toast have apple pie filling on the bottom of the casserole pan taste a lot better.

Put your bread and wet mix in a Ziploc and squeeze out all of the air to get all the pieces coated. I also dry my French bread out. cut it up and put it in the fridge overnight uncovered.
