Also, you can't use Lishi because the ignition is sidebar. NOT because of the transponder key. They can be picked. just not with Lishi.

Please bare in mind that most post 2004 chevys are on B111 Transponder cyls and will not turn over with just being picked

GM37 or B106 are the actual correct tools for this lock. This lock is the 93 groove "Z" keyway. Some are warded requiring GM37W or B111.

Dude just used a flathead screwdriver when he broke into mine. I future-proofed it by not getting it repaired and just leaving the hole there.

What some thieves do is change the ecm out with one with the VATS deleted and then they can pick or force the ignition to start it.

Is it capable of picking pins 1 & 2? It's ridiculously hard to change ignition lock cylinders when the wafers are worn out

I picked the ignitions on them. Once turned there’s a code on them. And no need for progression.
