In Germany we say „Pfand“ You pay $0.25 on top of the normal price, so you can return the bottles or cans and get $0.25 back

Probably because of people like my mom 😂 They pay per weight here and she’d put a small rock in the can and then crush it to make it heavier 😅

in Germany we have the same system but u get 25c for cans and bottles and 18c for beer bottles u also get charged for the few cents
