@badappleworld: The loneliest place in the world.. A empty house sits on the island of Elliðaey, a remote plot of land to the south of Iceland. Sources say that around 300 years ago, five families used to dwell on this island and they survived by raising cattle, hunting and fishing. The last ones who lived are known to have left the island in the 1930s. Since then, the island is deserted.
