It took me one car ride, a funicular train up Penang Hill (712m above sea level), slight walk, a buggy ride to save my legs, and hitched a ride at the back of a pickup truck to get back to the train. But it was all worth it. I used to be able to hike up Penang hill in about 1.5-2hours. But this is indeed a spectacular hidden cafe that serves a small variety of coffee (no lattes and affogato for you snobs, sorry) in a laid back environment with the soundtrack of the forest behind you. Kopi Hutan is the ultimate definition of a hidden cafe and if you want to go, drop a comment 📩.
