I never knew other ppl would black out when having anxiety. I start shaking, heart racing, face so red, I can’t hear what’s said, my vision like zooms out(therapist said it’s called impending doom).

It seems im the only introvert amongst all my corporate extrovert peers. I freeze up in meetings, zooms, conversations etc. Propranol has helped me.

YES 100% I take propranolol 20mg for work sometimes. I have diff anxiety meds I take at home but those DEF impair my thinking.

Totally relate to this - I was diagnosed with panic disorder ..before speaking in meetings I would feel like I would faint. Medication helped greatly

Gosh it's so comforting to find people that understand this feeling. It's horrible, I'm a church leader and I'm expected to speak sometimes and I avoid it like my life depends on it.
