as a grad student scientist my tats are on display when Im just doing normal lab stuff , even tho lab work means I'm usually fully covered for safety

When I was a college student, one of my public schools I visited made me take out my earrings (I had 6 total between both ears).

Not here in the district I’m in which is super traditional, they don’t let us. I wear athletic sleeves. People have been pushing back with the board.

I'm in nova scotia and I have seen teachers with tattoos from elementary school to grad school. it has never seemed to be an issue
