Born & raised in Fl and in 25 years I’ve NEVER seen anything like this. Some hurricanes did damage, but this is Fl’s first major flooding catastrophe.

The evacuation order was given too late. They could be in a car when it hit or in their home. Some don’t drive. Stop blaming the people there

I am in fort Myers/Cape Coral. We didn’t get an evacuation notice until 4pm the night before the storm. The roads were packed & there were no hotels
