Exactly. Why is it when I tell people this they say. No. They’re two different fuels and motor vehicles can’t handle the red diesel.

in Australia we have one type of diesel but you can just claim the tax back if used for off road use, so much simpler than having 2 types

I'm a oil inspector at time we dye diesel it's the same as other diesel. Red diesel is just dyed.

so what you're saying is because we fill up our cars more, they made it illegal to use it in them so they can make more on the regular diesel? it's only illegal because it's cheaper is what im getting from this 😐
