*PLEASE READ* THANK YOU to every station that has added, played, and ever will play my debut radio single, “Burned Down Heaven”. It has been my greatest honor to meet or play for you in person, and I can’t wait to meet those of you I haven’t yet. My dream was ALWAYS to be on the radio. Anytime I heard a song that saved my life, I heard it on the radio. Let me tell you why it’s important to me…because we live in a world that has robbed us. When a song comes on the radio, the listener doesn’t select it themselves on an app. It’s not a robotic algorithm saying, “if you like this, then try this next”, although there is a place for that! No. When the right song comes on the radio at the right time, it feels divine. Like the universe knew you needed it at that particular time. And we need that connection more than ever. My dream is to be that song for people. So, thank you to everyone supporting not only this song, but me. The beautiful, ugly truth is—I didn’t have a bed until I was 12 years old. We happily lived off hot dogs, Vienna sausages, and breakfast pizza the school would sell to underprivileged families for $2 a tray. I’m aware, with a heavy conscience, that I’m one lucky son of a bitch. I don’t post this for sympathy. I post this to encourage and let you know how grateful I am because I know what it’s like to have nothing. I spent most of my life with it. I may be in Nashville on a radio tour wearing new boots, but I grew up like a lot of your listeners. My external and internal struggles were that of someone who should not be in the position I’m in. Somehow, by grace….by fate…and a bit of my own stubborn blind belief, here we are. Last thing I’ll say. My family is everything to me. And like yours, they’re getting older. If this is just for me—my name in lights…I don’t want it. I don’t need it. But if I can give somebody a moment on the side of the road…a song that stops them in their tracks…maybe even saves their life…on the radio… Well then, I think Mamaw and Papaw would approve. -Chase McDaniel #newmusic #newcountrymusic #newcountry
