Paramedics are usually more proficient with intubation, they do it more. 31 yrs as a nurse and I suck at placing IV’s. We always had an IV team🤷🏼‍♀️

I guess I wasn’t aware that saving a life was optional for paramedics. And since a patient’s airway could mean the difference between life or death you would think it’s a non negotiable. All for it!
