Orange Pastry Rings Recipe 🍊🤍 These delicate puff pastry rings are elegant and bursting with citrus flavor, making them ideal for any occasion. 🥰 📝Ingredients: (You can choose your preferred ring sizes) For the pastry: • 1 roll of puff pastry • 1 egg yolk (for brushing) • Sliced almonds (for sprinkling) For the orange curd: • 75 ml (1/3 cup) freshly squeezed orange juice (unsweetened) • 1 egg yolk • 30 g (2 Tbsp) sugar (adjust to taste based on the sweetness of the oranges) • 1 tsp grated orange zest (unwaxed) • 1 tsp cornstarch (for a thicker consistency) • 1 tsp butter (room temperature) For the filling: • 200 ml (3/4 cup) whipping cream • Orange curd (prepared earlier) For decoration: • Orange segments • Powdered sugar 🤍 Instructions: 1. Roll out the puff pastry and cut out evenly sized circles using a round cookie cutter. Use a smaller cutter to punch a hole in the center of each circle. 2. Lightly brush one circle with water, then place another circle on top to create a double-layered ring. Repeat until all the pastry is used. 3. Place the rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with egg yolk, and sprinkle with sliced almonds. 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (430°F) for about 15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Let the rings cool completely. 5.
