They couldn't find mine for 4 years and I was in so much pain. In the end it was chronic appendicitis and it was inflamed when they were taking it out

Maybe look into endometriosis? That is what caused my appendix to go missing. & it causes cysts and can move to the lungs

Internal organs are sometimes really hard to see in certain scans, espessially if you've recently eaten, or in your case, have fluids in the area.
