This happened to my gallbladder and it turned out it was fused to my liver. I was in pain for a year before I got to a surgeon who figured it out

It’s almost always okay if your appendix doesn’t show up on imaging, it means it’s not angry. Obvi there can be exceptions

I’m a CT tech, your appendix does tend to “float” so it can be in a different places, and it is very very hard to see on a ct if it is not inflamed.
