@lucin.co: 👩🏼‍💻 What is the very first step you should take to start an ecommerce business? Hi I’m Em, I own an ecommerce store, a business coaching business and a social media agency and this is episode one on how to launch an ecommerce store. Step one is you need to have a concept: What is it exactly that you want to sell in your store? Is it 1 product? Is it a collection? Is it a variety of products? Can that 1 product be branched out in the future to make multiple versions of the product. For example if you’re going start a protein supplement business are you just going to launch one flavour of protein for the first launch or are you going to do multiple flavors, after protein will you make different supplements such as collagen… are you going to do shakers, scoops. What direction can you see the business going after the very first release? So you need to have a concept for the first product and then after your launch that product, whats going to happen next? A lot of people get wrapped up in ‘finding a gap in the market’ and putting together huge business plans to the point where they never actually get started. Don’t get me wrong I think a unique product and gap is great, it can be huge and planning is great… but its not the be all end all.
