The base is literally just to make it easier to put in the car so you can just snap it in real quick

I don’t drive currently so we never used the base🥰 graco seat. Only ever used the seatbelt.

Literally!! I bought my infant carrier without the base because personally I feel like they’re a waste of money. Several people were horrified 😂
