It was awful! My daughter as born at 8.30pm, my husband went home at 11pm. Lots of babies crying, mums talking or snoring, nurse checks, feeding etc.

I just wish nhs hospitals could give your own room after birth instead of going on the ward 😭 it’s so noisy at night on the ward when you need the most rest!
