@sooziethefoodie: It’s mushroom season and I couldn’t be more excited to show you all this chicken of the woods I tried- my friend foraged and sent these to me! Chicken of the Woods grow on tree trunks and the texture is actually like chicken 🤯 To me chicken doesn’t taste like much but the texture is the closest I’ve ever had from something made in nature. It’s even juicy like chicken too. A lot of times when I have ingredients like this I don’t make anything super crazy because I like to experience the natural textures and flavors of it 🍄 I would love to one day have the knowledge and confidence to be able to forage for my own stuff 🥹 #tiktoktainment #mushroom #chickenofthewoods
