@independentfiretraining: Here are just a few options for forcing a padlocked chain with your irons. You may find yourself going C-side for an assignment or just trying to make entry into the property and be posed with an obstacle like this. Your saw may be in use/getting started/flooded/etc, or you may be away from your rig and left the saw/bolt cutters behind. These give you a few options to work through while more equipment is brought up. This is not all encompassing and not every technique is shown in this short 45 second video, we didn't even mention how to attack gate hardware as an option. Most of these locks we forced were donated and made cheaply, they posed little challenge. If you come across a stouter, more secure padlock, you can expect a much harder force that may require working the lock in a multitude of ways.
