@thekwendyhome: Do you clean with vinegar? Vinegar is a great way to clean your home! It’s acidic which helps cut through grime, grease, dirt. It even kills bacteria! But you got to use it the right way or else it may damage your appliances. Here’s how I clean my home with vinegar: 1) I use it to clean inside my fridge. Mix 1 part vinegar to 3 parts hot water in a spray bottle. Spray in your empty fridge and wipe it down with a microfibre cloth. I love this method because the vinegar cuts through grease while still being good sage! 2) I also like to use vinegar to descale my electric kettle and coffee maker. Fill your kettle with 1:1 ratio of vinegar and water about 3/4 of the way. Boil and let it sit overnight. Make sure to label your machines to warn others not to use it or else they’ll be having coffee with vinegar! 3) I also like to clean my microwave with vinegar. Just grab a food safe container and pour in a cup of vinegar and microwave for 5 minutes. Leave the door shut for another five so that the steam can loosen food that’s been splattered. Then wipe with a microfibre cloth. The vinegar cuts through grease like a charm. 4) Deodorize and fight soap scum in your dishwasher with vinegar. Place one cup of vinegar in a dishwasher safe container in the top rack of an empty dishwasher and run it on hot water. This will help with grime in your machine. Be sure to keep your cup or bowl upright as to not spill the vinegar. 5) Clean soap scum and deodorize your washing machine with two cups of vinegar in the detergent dispenser. Run an empty cycle on the highest setting using hot water. Add an additional rinse cycle if you have this option or run another empty cycle to be sure your laundry stays smelling fresh next time.
