Rain poured heavily across the streets of Seoul while people hurried home under umbrellas. Winter sighed tiredly as she walked out of the convenience store carrying instant ramen and snacks. Her hoodie was already damp from the rain when she suddenly heard a weak sound nearby. “…meow.” She stopped walking. Near the alley beside the store was a tiny white cat curled up inside a soaked cardboard box. Winter scratched under its chin absentmindedly. “Your eyes are really nice too.” The cat immediately looked away. Winter smiled softly. “I’m glad I found you, Rina.” Then, without thinking much about it, Winter leaned down and pressed a tiny kiss against the cat’s forehead. “Goodnight.” Rina froze for a second. Winter laughed quietly before eventually falling asleep. — The next morning, Winter frowned slightly in her sleep. Why did her body suddenly feel so heavy? Half asleep, she shifted under the blankets. Something warm tightened around her waist. Winter slowly opened her eyes. “Hm?” Then froze completely. A woman was sleeping on top of her body. Long dark hair spread across Winter’s chest while soft arms wrapped around her waist comfortably. The woman’s face was buried against Winter’s neck peacefully like this was completely normal.
