@montessori.mothering: Replying to @werdahkhan0 @parenting.with.dr.siggie recently posted "Your ultimate power as a parent is your CALM". Although remaining calm in such a triggering moment as a parent is super hard, it is my goal every time. I never had a calm parent who was a safe space for me to express my feelings to as a child. I want my son to always feel he can bring his emotions to me and that they will be heard and empathized with. I try do this with my little boy who’s 21 months, but sometimes he just won’t stop. He’ll cry to the point where he’s forgotten what he’s crying (1/2)
