Three years into living here, and this home is still very much a work in progress. There are corners I haven’t touched, ideas still sitting in my notes app, and plenty of projects that didn’t go as planned. But the biggest thing I’ve learned? Homes don’t happen all at once. They take time. They take trying and failing, figuring things out as you go, and learning to trust yourself in the process. I used to think “making a home” meant reaching some polished, final version. But it’s not about crossing a finish line. It’s about the small wins, the messy middles, the things you redo three times just to finally get it right. It’s about letting go of the pressure to be done, and learning to celebrate progress instead. Because that’s where the real magic is. ☀️
